If you're looking for a great Twitter web-app, then you can't go wrong with Brizzly. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and it's by far the best I have come across. So where's our iPhone app, Brizzly?

Facebook's VP of Platform Bret Taylor (pictured above) told the RealTime Crunch guys that it seemed reasonable for Facebook to allow users to share their Friends Lists with other platforms. This would allow people to integrate their Facebook and Twitter lists -- something that would be unbelievably useful. The reality is that at some stage Facebook is going to have to open up their walled garden -- that or go the way of MySpace.

This was really baseless because there are many ways to raise objections over a news published or aired in the media
These are the words of Setara Institute chairman, Hendardi, in response to the Police naming the press as witnesses in the laughable defamation complaint filed by Anggodo.
Something is very, very wrong in the upper echelons of the Indonesian National Police. Conspirators and corruptors have the upper hand, and there is so much pig swill that you could be forgiven for thinking confusing the continuing drama with a Quentin Tarantino movie.
Who knows what the powers-that-be have in mind with their latest move. Nothing they have done so far has been particularly clever or well thought out.
Let's just see how long they last once Sri Mulyani's reformists get in there.

Old B4 here is not long for this world. On Friday he will be, um, sacrificed in a millennium old Muslim tradition.
Idul Adha is a pretty big holiday. The story goes that Allah told Abraham to sacrifice his only son to him. "Gee the old guy must be getting a bit senile," thought Abraham, because he had (at least) two sons, and probably many, many more. Anyway, to cut a long story short, Allah let him -- or Isaac -- off the hook.
Christians and Muslims alike celebrate Abraham for his dedication and faith. Personally, I think it's a crappy story, and just shows how nasty the Judeo-Islamic God could be. Talk about passive-aggressive!
Of course, most people have a slightly different take on the story.

[T]here’s no denying that these new forms of connection and communication are powerful and becoming increasingly important. That’s why your business should be on Twitter now.
Macworld (yes, Macworld) has a pretty good run-down on some Twitter tips for business. Actually, it's one of the best Twitter articles I have read. Very sensible, very practical. In summary, the 9 tips are:
I recommend reading the entire post (click on the link above).

Claiming to have improved the performance of the Finance Ministry’s bureaucracy, the government plans similar reforms in 12 other state institutions next year,
Okay, that's a tad blasphemous, but then you've come to expect that from me, ya?
This is the best news I have read since Team 8's condemnation of the Police and AGO's assault on the KPK. The government will start reforming 12 government agencies in 2010.
There is no doubt that Sri Mulyani's reform of the Finance Ministry was spectacular -- despite the still blatant fiscal tax corruption going on at Soekarno-Hatta international airport. It's great to hear that they are not stopping there.
Real change is afoot my people, real change is afoot...

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear... Who is advising the Police right now -- Mak Erot?
Anggodo has filed a defamation claim against Kompas and Seputar Indonesia. It's hard to believe that this character has any reputation worth defaming, after the whole KPK-gate wiretapping incident, and his hysterically funny outburst on live TV.
But what's even funnier, is the Police are actually investigating his complaint. Hard to believe, I know. But it's true! Some people are dumber than they look!

A hyper-opinionated bule with a deep fondness for Indonesia. Mildly outraged but mostly harmless.
